SMP is permanent but it will lighten up over time as the body metabolizes the pigment. If you'd like to freshen up the treatment, add density or go a bit darker, you would schedule a single-session touch-up and we can renew the treatment.

While SMP is permanent, it can be removed with a laser treatment if you'd like.

Pain tolerance is different from client to client but most people can tolerate it without the need of topical anesthetics. Generally clients report the feeling to be very tolerable and not as bad as they expected.

Of course! SMP is a collaborative effort between the artist and client. I will offer my professional input on what hairline would look best on you but ultimately the choice is yours!

I tell my clients to expect anywhere from 2-4 sessions. In order to achieve the most realistic look we build upon each session with more density and blending. This also gives my clients the power to control their look. For example if you want your hairline lower than what you initially asked for we can do that on the second or third session.
